Following his return as CEO, Kansys co-founder Arthur Koenig reflects on nearly three decades of Kansys, the journey that brought him back to the company and his focus for the future.
In 1997, I started Kansys with an idea: that software shouldn’t hold growth-driven companies back.
Nearly three decades later, that idea has taken Kansys further than I ever imagined — from a small systems integrator to a platform trusted by global brands and eventually becoming part of the Lumine Group family alongside Lifecycle, A360, VAS-X and Ubersmith.
I’ve worn a lot of hats along the way — co-founder, CTO, and a front-row seat to every chapter of this company’s growth.
Two years ago, I stepped away to chase a different passion. I earned my pilot’s license and put my business experience to work helping grow a young, up-and-coming flight school. It was a chapter I wouldn’t trade — but Kansys never stopped being part of who I am.
Today, I’m returning as CEO of Kansys.
This isn’t a new company to me. It’s the one I built, brick by brick, integration by integration, for over 25 years. I know its history, its people and its potential better than anyone — and, thanks to Lumine, I’m coming back into the CEO seat to help write the next chapter of that story.
Kansys has always been about giving businesses the freedom to innovate without limits — accelerating time to market across billing, mediation and customer management with architecture built to adapt as fast as our clients need to grow.
That mission hasn’t changed. Now, I’m honored to be in the seat to drive it forward.
Thank you to the team that has carried this company’s legacy forward, and to the clients and partners who’ve trusted us for almost 30 years.
I couldn’t be more excited to be back leading Kansys into its next era.
